  1. I teach kindergarten, and sometimes when the kids are at lunch or a special, I walk around barefoot in the classroom.  If I am comfortable, I can get more work done, but I can't let the kids see me barefoot, or they will do it too.

  2. Always, I have been barefoot for more than eleven years and that is including work. I work at a history theme park, where bare feet go well with the costume (period clothing, prehistory for me) but I am also barefoot when we do maintenance in winter, and I was also barefoot at my previous job at an internet helpdesk. It's rarely a problem here in the Netherlands, but even in the US footwear isn't required for all jobs.

  3. Only when I am in my own office.. and my shoes are slipped off under my desk

  4. never..

  5. Yes, and quite often in the summer time. At times it will be too hot in the taxi; therefore, I will take my sandals off and drive barefoot.

  6. Unless you work at a beach or something, this is generally never permitted. If it's a job where customers see you, then they will think it's very rude. Otherwise, the people who work with you will think it's smelly and unpleasant. Also, as it's a safety issue (you might step of broken glass or something), then your manager is very unlikely to let you do this as they would get into trouble and have to pay a fine if you hurt your feet by going barefooted.

  7. on casual fridays i sometimes wear flip flops and slip them off under my desk but otherwise i gotta keep my shoes or flip flops on.

when i was a lifeguard tho i went barefoot every day there
