  1. I've been on few. Probably won't go on more. They're OK but I'm not into riding 20 miles to stop and have a beer. Ride 20 miles stop and have a beer. Ride 20 miles stop and have a burger. Ride 20 miles .....you get the idea.

I much prefer the police escorted runs. They're usually a little shorter. About  30-60 miles but escorted all the way. That means you get to run all stop lights and stop signs.

Pretty cool to be a part of 200-300 bikes all staying together. It's like a parade. And there is usually people along the route out in their yards waving. It's not a relaxing ride however. you really have to pay attention.

  2. My One and only was 100 miles in August. Me and My GS850 Suzuki in a Sea of V Twins in the sweltering Heat. We lost about half of ther Riders at the First Bar we went past and most of the rest at the Second Bar. A woman on a Sportster Trike got Killed that day and that was My Last Poker Run.

  3. The longest, 100 mi or so. I'm not sure what type of runs these other folks go to, but there is no beer drinking on the ones I do. I only do runs for good causes such as autism, MS, etc.

  4. Typical poker run around here is about 100 mi, ( so you can get back early enough to eat tri-tip and watch the wet T-shirt contest)

I did go on one last fall in the Tehachipie area that was close to 200 mi, everything is pretty spread out in that area.

It was a nice ride and included Willow Springs race track ,which I hadn't been to since my twenties.

  5. Magz's answer is correct.

  6. I've been on one that was a day trip around the state of Missouri.  I prefer Toy Runs, myself:

  7. never been on a poker run...

  8. red&white has a good poker run in regina every year tim

didn't make it this year being on foot and all

  9. nope not into that.

  10. Yes, I do. Haven't been on one in a while.

What do you mean by longest? Mileage? Or time?

I hardly ever keep track of mileage, they all vary. Most are between 100 and 200 miles. The run usually lasts 4-5 hours, but with travel time to and from I'll ride all day. Rarely get back before sundown. No beer on these runs, no burgers either. Just cards and sights.

If you wind up in the neighborhood at the right time, try one of our Covered Bridge runs.

  11. not lately, not too many in this part of saskatchewan (canaduh)

    spit or swallow ?

  12. I go on very few, mainly I have no desire to ride with a large group of people, with most of them being new riders.
