Do you ever handwash your clothes?

If so, what country are you from? Just a survey because I'm here in the US, & I feel like a loser for having to handwash my clothes b/c I can't afford to go to the laundromat.

    There was a time when like you i was broke and had to hand wash my clothes

  3. You're not the only loser, I handwash mine too. You could say it's because you don't have money for the laundromat. Or, as I say, it's good for the environment. USA

    Everything eles is wash inside the wash machine

  5. It has been a very long time since I had to hand wash clothes, maybe on a camping trip or something. USA =)

  6. No I don't  but People do what they need to survive.  If it comes down to eating or not, I would.  But there is always the alternative of not washing them.

  7. Im in the US and I almost NEVER handwash my clothes... I use lingerie bag/delicate bags for things that would be handwash!  I have a family and it would just take too long to handwash....

  8. I am from Canada and I have handwashed my clothes in the bathtub

    including sheets and towels when I was broke. You are not a

    loser. You are going through tough times and everyone does sometime in their life. One day you will look back on this time and smile. I still handwash my underwear bras stockings etc. Also

    dishcloths and towels as I like to bleach them. I air dry everything too

  9. I used to use a scrub board and wash my clothes in the bath tub.  It was fine for me and made me feel good.  Worked off a lot of frustration that way.   lol.

  10. Yes, I do handwash some things.  Especially my lingerie and swimwear.  I live in the U.S., too.

    You're not a loser. Look at it this way, give thanks that you have clothes to wash and the strength to wash them.  I don't mean that like I'm trying to shame you for feeling the way you do.  I just mean that seeing it that way might help you not feel so discouraged.  I try to see my household chores that way.  I'm not always successful in that mindset, but I try  :)
