Do you ever have a handkerchief or tissue in your pocket in case you need to blow your nose? ?

I always put a clean handkerchief in my pocket before I leave my house, but i was wondering how many other guys do. I suppose it's a pretty un-guy thing to do isn't it? Mind you I do get bad allergies so I often need to honk my nose! I don't think many of my mates carry hankies though, so I feel a little embarrassed blowing my nose in front of them.

I don't..Just use kleenex. There is almost always a box anywhere.

well i think that you need a handkerchief in your pocket just in case runny nose you're sick and bloody nose so if you want to blow your nose without no one knowing blow it somewhere or don't face them and blow your nose fast.

I too always put a clean handkerchief in my pocket before leaving the house. I much prefer to use a hanky to blow my nose than a tissue as it's much softer on my nose and better for the environment. Plus as already mentioned here, my hanky also stops loose change falling out of my trouser pocket.

Toilet paper or tissue paper is something that is disposable. This makes an environment better for those who have need for sneezing, blowing noses, etc. A handkerchief may look good, but it is not hygienic. Any disease is kept 'active' when one repeatedly sneezes into it. Peace!!!

I usually carry a couple of tissues in my back pocket, in case I run into a lady in need or a snotty kid or something :) And no, I'm NOT old.

As for blowing my nose.... well, if I'm outdoors, alone or in the *right* company, I just empty my nose in the nearest shrubbery. Effectively and easy. If I'm indoors, I blow my nose in the bathroom (using a tissue).

Actually, Its pretty cool.  My dad has always carried a handkerchief in his pocket, ever since he was young, blows his nose in it, then puts it back in his pocket ( kinda gross lol) But no do not be embarrassed!

it's not an un-guy thing it's good manners not to spread your germs when you sneeze or even want to wipe your nose in the fifties the british government ran a campaign to get pople tO use handkerchiefs with the slogan       COUGHS AND SNEEZES SPREAD DISEASES

May sound daft but I always have a hanky in my trouser or jeans pocket, its to stop my loose change falling out.
