  1. i did until the day she died and if i could today i most definately would

  2. Every time I see her!  If I am talking to her, I tell her I love her when I hang up the phone.  You never know if that will be the last time you see or talk to someone.

  3. My daughters are very good about making sure I know they love me, depend on me, and appreciate me. My own mother doesn't deserve that.

  13. Courtney,

Just had to respond, saw the answers and only one jerk didn't need to respond.

Loved some answers and some felt sorry for.

I am a mother and loved my children and gave to them every day of their lives. Out of 4 adult children I have 1 daughter I help with the children she has and now a year ago I was forced into telling them all that I have MS and hated doing it then.

Things changed, my children don't call hardly and visiting is very seldom and my son said I quite frankly fall through the cracks.........  my other daughter will say " Mom, can I give you a call back, I'm busy right now?"  That means no phone call back.  Even the youngest adult person , my daughter doesn't call unless she wants something from me.  I have to let her have her way in order to get help. I used to get taken out 2 times a week and loved it, now it's once a month if I am lucky.

So love your mother to life and enjoy the time together and have no regrets......... standing before her coffin won't bring about the words and hugs she needed while she was alive.

I have a tree outside my window I get to look at, not my loving children I thought I raised.

  14. i tell my mom i love her in every email, phone conversation and every time i visit her! we always hug as well. you never know when something could happen and i want the last thing i tell her to be i love her!

  15. Every single time I see my Mom, I hug her, kiss her and tell her that I lover her.  Every single time we speak on the phone, I tell her how much I love her.  Although, there have been times when we've argued or disagreed about something, I always make sure that she knows that I love her anyway. I do this with everyone I know and care about. We never know how long we have to love, so it's very important to tell the people in your life that you love them and how much they mean to you.  Great question!

  16. no.

    it's difficult somehow.

i can't express my love thru saying i love you and hugs.

    i'm not that affectionate.

  17. As a guy, no I don't.

I'm old school.  My parents and I prove our love through our actions.

Think about it, would you rather have YOUR child call or email you to say I love you, or have them show up and spend an hour once a week?

  18. not often. However i think i should, My mom is a wonderful person. Thanks.

  19. I did that a lot but wish I had done it more when I had the chance.
