When Man Utd fans decides to leave the most important game in their recent history in their most successful season when they are a single goal behind - I was disgusted. Surely fans from any other club would've stayed to the end, regardless of the score, to applaud the team for their success in the cup and in the season in general. I won't leave until the whistle's blown even if my team's 5 goals down - because I don't want to miss the consolation goal. Who does leave early and why ?

  1. no.loyalty.

  2. I sometimes watch only the first half, due to circumsatnces at the time, but I never stop watching just because my team are losing - although if someone scores against us I don't watch the replays of their goal.

    ;-) Why so serious???? xxx♥♥♥x*x

  3. Haha I don't have that luxury mate! I have to stay for the full 90 mins and injury time also! The game couldn't go on without me so NO early exit for me!!

I'm the one who blows the final whistle!!

The joys of being a referee!! :):)

  4. Normally, I would not leave a game early.  I like to stay the entire time. The only exception is if I have my son with me. He is 7 and at times, I have had to leave places early due to him. I know some elderly people that love to attend games but leave early due to traffic concerns. My grandma and her boyfriend used to go to baseball games and they always left during the 7th inning stretch and finished the game on the radio because the traffic scared them!

  5. I've never done that but I came close to switching off the TV at half time in the Champions League final in 2005. I decided to steel myself for further humiliation and guess what happened!

  6. i use to then i missed a goal never again.....

  7. No but I often wish I did when in a mile long queue for the tube

  8. If its an irish cup final and the glens score two goals in the last two minutes to lead 3-1, then YES

  9. I've left a game early once.. because it was a big crowd and I had to get back home on time or else da boss was threatening severe retribution

When I used to go to footie with my father he always left early (Im guessing probably for the same reason)

outside of that I'll wait to the death because y'never know. mind you since my club moved grounds to a new stadium there's no need to as the routes out of the ground back to the car/train are no longer so clogged, so the queues are less of, or not, a problem
