Do you ever look at someone's profile before you add them just in case they want to be emailed first?

i read profile to know if i want to add them. then i email and ask.

I always look at their profile first, and if they haven't stated that they'd like you to email them first, I don't.

I always check all profile's and if it does state that they want someone around their age or to be e-mailed first then I leave it and move on.

Yes I do. Some have a personal policy of doing that. I had to do it for a few people and every one said sure add me thank you for letting me know. I just like to get to know a little bit about them said one contact. I just add people who like I told you before are just like me or so funny they make you wet your pant you need to add them.
