im not g*y or anything but in my life experience, i met guys who are straight and are not homophobic and guys who are homophobic act a little...strange. When i see them in high school, i always see them all over their "manly-straight" friends, and when they are asked about gayness or anything about homosexuality, they get extremely offended and get mad and say all these explanations and when my straight friends are asked about it, they are cool with it and don't get offended. Has anyone ever noticed this too? Why are people like this? i find it quite hilarious actually...

  1. oh yeah. lol. they're either completely g*y or just really hateful i guess.

  2. That's because homophobes are often reacting against their own repressed feelings.  There was a study that showed that men who were identified as homophobes based on a battery of questions showed greater arousal in response to homosexual p**n, as measured by penile engorgement, than did non-homophobes.

  3. My guess is they have very low self esteem. Maybe they have g*y thoughts and have to over compensate by acting that way so nobody will suspect

  4. Because they're really flamers at heart and like to hide themselves by overcompensating in an effort to appear as straight as possible. Basically its because they can't accept themselves for who and what they are and since others can they hate them for it and attack them because they can't confront themselves about it.

  5. Yes, I notice that a lot.  I think it's because of one of two reasons:

    (a) They're g*y but in the closet, and are willing to go to any measure to make sure nobody thinks that they ARE g*y.

    (b) They truly think it's disgusting and the mere idea that someone might think they have that "tendency" scares them.
