Yes sometimes especially to bachelors up in the tea gardens as they were always doing the married ones favor so it was our duty to be kind and helpful to them so some goodies were sent across to their bung lows or they were invited over

Yes...I also like to give them as gifts....this year at Christmas I went to 99cent store and bought beautiful crystal plates....made numerous batches of fudge and pralines...arranged them on the plates wrapped with cellophane gift wrap and ribbon...gave them to my regular customers and all the employees where I work...apparently many are now looking forward to Christmas this year.

Yes I used to do that for my uncle all the time for helping me out.

Absolutely---I like to do that and also appreciate it when some one does it for me.  It always happens at Christmas time but anytime of the year it is a great gesture of thanks.

I've done this many times . . . if someone does me a favor I would not insult them by offering money, but a bag full of cookies is really appreciated ! !
