  1. The British sometimes respond with "sorry?" when they didn't hear what you said.

  2. I usually say sorry when I am.

  3. sometimes i will say sorry. or my apologies then. just to shut people up and change the subject. My friend taught me that. You can actually say it like you don't mean it and they don't notice. then you change the subject and avoid the drama.

  4. no....

  5. I do it but so do some of my Friends, We don't do it to annoy each other though, its habit.

  6. Yes I do, especially when the other person is completely wrong in their thinking. I say it sarcastically and they soon realize that ...wait. That was a stupid thing to get mad about.

The trick is look them straight in the eye while they're rambling on and sya "I'm sorry."

  7. I'm sorry, but what's"alote?"

  8. I say sorry most of the time when someone is scolding me for doing something and I do it so they can get off my case and tell its cool since I apologized.  I never use it sacarstically.

  9. No I haven't done, but I like the idea. My brother has a demented sister in law who did it a lot until we began to say "oh no you aren't or you wouldn't have" whatever she did to be sorry about!
