Do you ever shiver for an unknown reason?

sometimes when i here singing, and they hit a certain high note, it makes me shiver, or like when im somewhere warm like the beach, i get a shiver out of nowhere. why is this? and do any of you ever feel the same way?

sue is right about the 'old wives tale', and no it doesn't make sense

but the fact that it exists would seem to indicate that it is a common

occurrence.  

with me it doesn't seem to indicate a good or bad feeling, or even

any feeling at all, it just happens.

The Old Wives Tale explaination of this is "a goose walked over your grave". It isn't an explaination nor even does it make any sense, but that is what the elders have always said.

I have no clue as to why a shiver hits sometimes. The only comfort I have for you is the older you get the less this happens.

that happens to me all the time. ill just be sitting there and all of a sudden i shiver. i dont know why, cuz im not cold nor am i thinking about something frightening. i just dont know.
