  1. People are pretty smart.  If you spray cleaning products in the air, and your place is a pigsty...isn't that a clue?

  2. i am a clean tidy person,,,but i usually will light a candle to make a nice smell....

  3. no but i polish the kettle and the taps, to make the kichen look clean, oh and i check the loo for skiddies, p.s not mine, my b/fs

  4. If I know people are coming then I tidy up and clean for real. I don't pretend. It doesn't fool anyone who knows me though! They all know I've just made a special effort and that the house is a tip normally.

  5. I do that sometimes. I also have candles burning but with both of these, I make sure that they are not an offensive fragrance.  Maybe you could find something that gives off a neutral clean smell without going too much into obvious fragrance. When you have someone coming over, make sure that person are not sensitive to certain fragrances or it could really be an unpleasant experience for both of you.

  6. Sometimes I spray a little on the fabrics to freshen them up.  But all the spraying in the world isn't gonna hide my untidyness.  I do clean up before guests but we are working people who don't pay someone to clean soooo it shows.

When young kids are coming over I clean the floors good!

  7. No my house both looks and smells good usually because I am a clean and a tidy person..........I wouldn't survive in my own house if i didn't smell good or wasn't clean.

  8. so you like to poison your guests??????

ever think that some one may have allergies or asthma?

  9. People associate clean with comfort, and hospitality. So there is nothing wrong with wanting things to smell clean. Contrary to the user above me, clean fresh scents are usually calming.

I'd recommend not spraying cleaners into the air, but actually taking a rag and doing a quick "touch up" of vases, lamps etc. The smell will be lighter and last longer.

  10. Sometimes.  But my place is usually pretty clean, anyways.
