Anybody who says they haven't done it will probably do it one day, of course they won't admit to it.

Me, I did once many years ago and upset the driver of a Ford Anglia.

Yes I've done it before and I know a mate of mine Steve, who failed his bike test for doing exactly the same thing!!

Yes - I think it is because you are thinking of something else but subconsciously you take in the fact that you are approaching traffic lights, the stopping is then a reflex action.  The worry is that you are allowing you're attention to wander whilst driving.

Yep! Several times.

I think it is something to do with us unlucky drivers who are always being stopped by traffic lights, ...we anticipate the lights being against us, because they usually are.  We get confused if the lights stay at green and don't change red when we approach.
