Like, for example, all the expectorant from the cooks and staff as they talk over your food before or while it's being served to you? Or whether or not they washed that lemon before cutting it up into sections and plunking it in your drink? Or what about the cutting boards and knives used to prepare your food? I could go on and on... Do you think about it? Does it bother you?

  1. I think you might be a little paranoid. I've worked in alot of restaurants and they are usually very meticulous about cleanliness. Just make sure you eating in places rated an A by the health department. Also, the food is cooked.

  2. If we think about that we will stop eating, even in canned food, frozen food, ground meat , we are never sure what is inside or what was done. For sure its better to eat at home because at least you do the preparation.

    We have to be confident...

  3. No, I try to not really think about it at all.  It's one of those things that's basically impossible to regulate and if there's things I don't want to know, I don't want to know about it.  I'd just rather be ignorant to some things, just because I want to continue to eat out.

  4. Nope because if I thought about it, I probably would not eat itt.....

  5. The guy at subway dropped the lid to the mayo. He picked it up and washed it off and finished my sandwich.

  6. "ignorance is bliss"

  7. yes, and that is why i eat at home!

  8. People are bags of germs!  Please stop thinking this way, or you will go mad!

  9. You're that person who stares critically at the person preparing your food just waiting for the moment you can pounce on them for the tiniest mistake, aren't you?

  10. Nope because if I thought about it, I probably would not eat there.   I knew of a guy who was working at a Steakhouse and it was aboout 20 minutes before closing time and these people walked in to eat.  He was so mad because he was about to get off work,  that he grabbed the dinner rolls and licked them.     Yep,  it's best not to think about it.

  11. I'd rather not know! I had a summer holiday job once in a local bakery, and the horrors i saw; Dough falling on the floor put straight back in the bread tin with bits stuck to it, the owners pet dog running around, floor never mopped, co-worker smoking a cigarette as he carried  baked bread blowing out the smoke on the bread, and finally the head baker used his finger to ice the ice-buns and l*****g his finger as he was doing it! And this bakery is renowned as a good bakery, and i had been eating iced-buns from here for years before i got a job there.

  12. if i did i dont think i would ever eat out again. mad cooks and all

  13. Restaurants have their health inspection scores on the wall, usually somewhere near the entrance.  If the score is low don't eat there.  The score is a pretty good indication of the cleanliness of the store.

  14. No, I just enjoy it and that's what you should probably do or eat always at home
