  1. Sorry to tell you, this earthquake is just a hick up from the one we are expecting. The San Adrea's fault slides every one hundred years, and its way over due. The fault slid in 1906 and it was a hundred years in 2006. So hang on tight its going to rock for at least a minute and a half and the point of this earthquake will be in between a 7.9 and an 8.2. This will be grater than the earthquake in 1994 and that was a 7.1. Yes I know a lot of people think it was a 6.7 because we were all lied to. The earthquake insurances did not want to pay out, so they down sized that earthquake to a 6.7. Just like they did with this one, I called it when i felt it. I say out loud to all my co teachers that this earthquake is a five point eight, and initially I was right and they down size it again. This earthquake was a lot stronger than a five point four.

  2. probobly not because the likelyness of haveing another quake in the same weak is 2.7%.

  3. Scientists warn that with such a quake now almost statistically guaranteed, residents and state officials must focus on earthquake preparedness. Aside from stressing the importance of individual preparedness with things like earthquake kits and customized emergency supplies, special importance is being placed on building construction and ways to reduce the billions of dollars in damage that will inevitably result. More frightening is the fact that while a 6.7 has a 99.7% likelihood of occurrence, a 7.5 or greater has a 46% chance of striking in the next 30 years (WGCEP 2007 Report). These numbers are alarming. More importantly, they’re a warning. Now is the time to prepare.

  4. jaja pues quien save talves ojala y se hunda ca jaajaja ntc pura broma ciao0 cuidate!!!

  5. yeah and it will happen by 2037 then it will sleep for sevral 100 years and California will move northwest. by 12 million years Los Angeles will be where San Jose is today. cool huh. its ture.

  6. Yes, definitely. I'll bet you a million dollars that California will have another earthquake.

  7. im sorry but i think you might have another one because californias plate boundaries are like sliding or something..i learned in science..but im sure you will be notified ahead of time next time.

    best of luck:]]

  8. Many people have many theories about earthquakes in California. I myself live here in L.A and i think that the earthquake from yesterday was just a simple release of energy that had to go out. There are after maths of earthquakes that happen the same day that an earthquake happened. But i just feel that nothing big will happen now.

There was an earth quake in Oaxaca Mexico today in the morning though....

  9. of course...we have SOO many faults..
