I wish it had been. The last one I stopped at was - not clean. The only good part was the sign in each cubicle asking patrons to remember to close the door before using the facility! If you've found good ones on your route, you are lucky. And full credit to the gas station staff, because some of their customers have no such consideration for others!

Truck stops on I-40 are clean because heads will roll if they are not.  Back before I retired,  one of  My  last jobs was maintenance man.   Code name you get to do all the nasty jobs  One day before I finally quit, the boss had me work on cleaning a bathroom. all day , a girl was assigned to the girls room.  The inspecter from h**l came in and licked the wall and said its still not clean, I could tell you some terrible war storys about how some peaple can totally mess up bathrooms, but I will leave that to your imagination.
