Do you ever wonder why most everything is expensive In New Zealand.......?

I love NZ and proud to be a Kiwi...but I can still be those things and want better for my life.

Our Govt is so d**n greedy ,why do we put up with it ??

yea i agree, the government should take GST off our food. But if they didn't tax anything, that would just lead to higher demand from the consumers, when that happens there is excess supply and when there isn't enough supply, it creates blackmarkets and the prices are forced up to decrease the demand of consumers to try and reach the market equilibrium again.  so in conclusion, the government puts taxes on items and make them expensive for safety reasons.
