I have been so busy that I didn't realize everybody played last Thursday. I turned on the game in the second quarter. I was completely disgusted with myself for hours. These things just don't happen at our house. In 1978, I was 100 feet under the ocean in a nuclear submarine. That was the last time I missed an opening kickoff.

Good job, but no, I don't write anything while watching football.  I do not watch football.  I played 1 year in high school, and can't stand the game.

I bet you the footballers are glad the verses are not reversed "Touchdown....kisses exchanged" would attract a fairly different audience.

Since my husband died, don't watch football anymore, never did cotton to it, reminds me of the era Roman forum. After once sitting behind the goal posts at a Notre Dame game, I knew why I felt that way!
