Do you fear posting your poetry and having it...stolen?

I mean, i know it is very hard to get them published, but i have this fear of putting it on the web and having someone else claiming it's their's...Is that silly?

You have nothing to fear.  Most of the poetry on the internet is cliche garbage.  If they accept it, you know it is probably c**p.  Write a REALLY BAD poem and try to get it posted on the internet . . . that is always FUN!

No I don't think it's silly!!!... I wouldn't  want someone to take credit for my personal feelings that motivated me to write!!

Its not silly.

And it can happen.

But its a risk people take.
