Do you fear that your car will break down when your out driving?

I would hate to break down on the freeway.

My car is maintained. Clean oil, good tires and brakes, clean fuel and air filters, never use cheap gas, tuned and serviced. I can jump in tomorrow and head to Texas if I want!

I got AAA so no worries... One phone call my car getting fixed and im on my way... U can have a 2009 and your car can still break down.... Gotta have that back up

I never worry.  I have a 95 Toyota Truck.  Last year the Truck was sold in USA where it was made still in Japan.  Its been all over the Americas, rain, snow, heat, wind, floods, mud, rocks, sand, trees.  Its a mini tank and it never lets me down.  I figure I'll drive it to 2015 and then buy a new truck.

I had that fear, when I was driving an old car. The cars are now much more reliable, and the maintenance is done on schedule, that also has a larger interval of time.  Since nothing is perfect, it would be good to have it programed in your mind that if anything like that should happen on the Freeway, you would proceed to the right and get off on the shoulder, ASAP with turning on the emergency flasher lights.  No one likes a breakdown. Do take care of the maintenance and ask your Mechanic, he should be able to assure you personally, about your own vehicles safety. Happy motoring

the only fears I have,since i have my car properly maintained, would be getting a flat tire or being in a car accident.

Drive a reliable, properly maintained car.  I feel just a comfortable in my 99 dodge durango as my 08 BMW just because it's been properly maintained.

Proper maintenance should keep your car in proper working order. Keep blankets, refreshments and a cell phone handy just in case...

Don't forget to join AAA or a reliable towing service. Having all these things should give you peace of mind.
