  1. Yes. I buy the timothy hay treats, I think they are called timothy tots. One per hamster, but I don't give them every day. Yes, again. The small ones about once a week for the really bad cage chewers because it allows them to grind their teeth down without hurting them. My hamsters that aren't bad about chewing get them about once a month.

  2. No. Apperently, my hamster has allergic reactions to it or something.

  3. yes i feed my hamster timothy hay about ones a week..and the dog bones i thought my hamster was going to die but he didnt and i only give it to him ones a month

  4. Hamsters should mainly be fed only commercial nutritious hamster feeds available at any pet shops. This hamster feed should form the major portion of their diet for their own good health.

I am not really sure about feeding them timothy hay. I have not given my hamsters any till now and neither have I read anywhere that hay can be given to hamsters. Hay is known for causing allergy to hamsters so check with your vet to be sure about feeding them T.Hay

You can give them readymade dog bone toys for their chewing and gnawing purposes. The small ones are better. Just hang it from their cage and they will use it as and when they please. Alternatively, you can also give them hard dog biscuits and wooden chews (available especially for hamsters in pet shops) for their chewing and gnawing exercises.
