As I look back now, I've come to realize that for me the successful relationships I've had were those where our IQ's were probably very close together. I'm talking co-workers, neighbors, friends, family, and romantic relationships.

  1. Yeah I find on both sides male or female. People are intimidated by someone with a signifigantly higher intelligence.

  2. Stupid chicks cause stupid drama.  Smart chicks are a neurotic pain in the neck.

  3. I don't know what most others IQ is.  Honestly I've forgotten mine since I took an IQ test years ago and didn't pay a lot of attention to it.  I'm not sure how accurate the IQ is.  I have a sister who has quite a high IQ but doesn't have any common sense.  It's really sad.

I suppose if one person is really smart and the other is dumb as a post the relationship would suffer.  It would be hard for them to have a conversation that would be interesting to both of them.  I think it would have to be a really big difference tho.

  4. Yeah, I think to some degree it does matter. In my opinion, most people are only drawn to others within their equal IQ range~unless they just want a non-serious relationship (read:one night stand or fling).
