I personally do not like animal testing, but there are some people who feel it's to benefit us...you know, like the rats who drink soda all day to test for cancer, because rat's work similar to us? I wish there was a different way of research other than testing cute little inocent rats.

  1. Me too. Animal testing is absolutly awful. Innocent cretures who usually end up dying for us. I did a report on this, and there are other ways, but they are just more expensive.

And rats are one thing, but cats and dogs and chimps...ugh I can't even stand the thought. But still, rats should not have to be put through things like testing.

  2. I think its wrong! Poor animals suffering!

  3. Its a three way street.

For makeup and c**p, that's unnecessary. Lipstick, eye shadow, eye liner, etc, are all disposable and don't attribute to daily life. People can do without makeup, and therefore, we can do without animal testing for that section.

As for medicines and foods, I think thats more or less of "do we need it?" I mean, do we REALLY need a cure for pimples? Is it REALLY that hard to deal with it during puberty? I can understand testing for cancer cures, but not for "will this give excessive gas?"

Why can't we test on criminals who are going to jail for life with no chance of probation or bail? They are animals too, they void all human rights when you enter in the prison system for life.

Lets test diet coke and shampoo on them. Who cares if it gives THEM cancers or pimples.

  4. I feel that it's a necessary evil.

I don't think things like makeup and shampoo need tested on animals. But for medical research, it's necessary if we wish to further our advancements in the field.

  5. I think if people believe a product may be dangerous to us as humans, so they test on animals then they should test it on themselves!  If they wouldn't want to use the ingrrediants, products, treatments on us, then we swhouldn't be using them at all!

  6. I think it's sick and disgusting and should not be done.  If a food, product, or drug has that many questionable ingredients then maybe they need to start over.

Fresh produce, organic meats and less pollution would far benefit us then all the money they spend on testing.
