Do you feel as parents that sometimes bullies are being protected?

more than your kid who is being bullied at school? I had constently went to the teacher ,principal and bus driver. Until I finally got fed up and told my son just kick their *** ( I feared for their safety not his) and the problem resolved yet my son got introuble.

  1. Yes, as a parent AND a teacher, I feel that sometimes the bullies are being protected. Whether it's the fact that the student has an issue, a bad home life, parents who think they can do no wrong etc....in some situations they're backed up.

    I've taught my own kids that if they have a problem to find an adult. If they don't help, come to me. If I say/do something and still nothing is solved, ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. Standing there and not saying anything when you're being bullied 95% of the time DOESN"T lead the bully to leave you alone...I don't know what wackjob came up with that suggestion.

    When a student comes to me, I work to fix the problem to the best of my ability by talking to both students and working with them. I don't care what the child's life/problem is, they should be taught to and treat others with respect. I have ZERO tollerance for it. Very rarely do I go to the parents because most parents of bullies A) don't believe their child is doing anything wrong or B) don't care.
