Use as little paper as possible. Encourage magic slates to show your imagination, Dont just spoil paper with your partime drawing skills.

    ALWAYS RECYCLE PAPER.

  3. no

  4. I'm just as much a part of the environment as the snail darter and the zebra mussel.  I feel NO guilt  for using water and paper, especially since  they both recycle so readily.

  5. The response by Turingschild, is a classic example of human arrogance and perception that the Earth is his/her 'oyster'.  This person, most obviously, has absolutely no understanding of the relationship between humans and the rest of life on Earth.  Water that is polluted with VOCs and toxic wastes cannot be 'recycled'.  Soils that are contaminated with pesticides and chemical fertilizers, cannot grow healthy plants suitable for consumption by man nor beast.  And it is not the CO2 we are putting in the air, but actually all of the particulate matter that every living thing on Earth absorbs that is deadly. The millions of tons of non-biodegradeable wastes that we bury in the ground each day will outlive life itself.

This has very little to do with how much we use, but rather what is left behind for future generations to use.  If the air, water and soil is all contaminated, then what the h**l does it matter how much of it we have or use????

This is not exactly 'rocket science'.  'Common Sense' better describes what's needed.

  6. No I don't feel bad - I pay for everything I use, and timber is a renewable resource.

  7. I work in retail. The waste that goes on there sickens me. The displays are corrugated, which could be recycled, EXCEPT they are painted with high gloss and cannot be recycled. But, goodness knows, we can't have less attractive displays or we might not make that ONE sale. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on and on. The worst part is, this is the giant who touts themselves as 'going green'.
