  1. No I make a distinction between me and my designs for things.

Things I may well want to do, to experience, etc.

None of these things are me, but they make up things around and associated to me.

In essence all of these things change, I am still here, that has not changed. So I may have an association with these things but they arenot me. So they cannnot complete me, or detract from me.

  2. I think that once the goal has been achieved, you may feel good for a while, then you may still feel like something is missing. The quest for more goals and knowledge is endless, we strive to know more and have more. Thats not to say that i dont appreciate the things i do have, just that it is nice to have new challenges once you have reached the old ones...

  3. I absolutely agree with the first answer. I'm positive that once I've done my degree at uni and started teaching I'll feel really content, but there'll always be a new goal that you'll set yourself. I think that's what life is all about. Raising the bar each time you achieve something. It makes life more exciting and challenging.

  4. there is satisfaction, but not completeness - we all strive for something more. if we didnt, we would probably give up on life.

  5. I feel pretty happy. I am aware of the pitfalls of affuenza and I try to enjoy small things and not always be thinking of the next thing. That never leads to happiness.

  6. The person above pretty well said what I was about to say - to feel complete would mean the end of growing and I want always to learn more and experience more.

It's not a missing out feeling, but just a thirst for adventure.
