MTV might as well change their name to PRTV (pathetic reality television).. the only thing they do with music anymore is advertise what song is playing during shows and trl.. music television is a very unfit name..

Haven't watched it in many years....not since when they had videos.  I watched after they did a Real World in my neighborhood in Chicago, and realized how phony it was.  It helped wreck the music industry.

yep, in the mid-late 90s is when i watch it and it actually had music videos and music shows. It should now be called RTV (reality television), but they're getting the ratings so as a business you keep doing what works. Times like this I miss "The box" which played music videos 24/7 and you can call and request songs
