  1. dude if your worried bout the hygeine of the sushi at a food outlet make your own it is so simple. get sushi rice, seaweed sheets, bamboo mat, and anything u want in them roll it up. i like smoked salmon with avo and sweet chilli. easy and works out so much cheaper.

  2. if peyton manning is a good quarterback to you then sushi is safe for you

  3. Very safe.

  4. I use to work in a restaurant that served sushi

    Its very clean actually

Much cleaner than pan fried food

I'll eat sushi almost anywhere and i've never been sick

  5. I suppose it is safe, as long as it is safe to vomit.  That's what I do every time I taste sushi.

  6. Yep.  Just follow the basic rules concerning fish...make sure it looks healthy and doesn't have a decaying smell.  If you get it in a restaurant make sure their sanitation grade is high and you see them making fresh sushi often.

  7. no i dont trust raw fish

i like california rolls, but idk if that counts as real sushi haha

  8. If it is made in a reputable place and/or looks fresh, the yes.

  9. Yes, but to be safe eat at a restaraunt. I eat raw beef sometimes, but i take lil precaution and juice a lime over it.=) my stomach can handle so I will keep eating sashimi, cause they're delicious.

  10. Yes, it's very safe.  I've been eating sushi for 22 years (sushi with LOTS of raw fish, mind you) and I've never been sick from any parasites.

  11. Well, since it's usually hard to get fresh fish in the US, the quality of raw fish at some restaurants is probably not that great. In that case, I would worry about it.

But usually eating raw fish at decent sushi restaurants is very safe. You just need to educate yourself. That is all. I know that some Americans don't even want to eat cooked fish because they are afraid of mercury poisoning. And because they are afraid of mercury poisoning, they get freaked out about eating raw fish....anyway,there are people who eat raw fish especially in Japan, and they are not dying because they eat sushi. But some Japanese people do get sick sometimes if they eat too much raw fish.

Anyway, just educate yourself so you will feel much better about eating fish and raw fish.

By the way, I don't eat sushi once a week but probably once every three months.

  12. Yep, I ate some almost a month ago, and I'm still just fine and have no parasites. Just make sure its at a decent resturant, and if you want to be more on the safe side, don't eat it all the time or make it yourself.

  13. no

  14. yea, make sure the sushi is fresh and you'll be ok.
