Do you feel guilty not showing for someone's parties?

I want to go, and then I all of a sudden think how nice it would be to just stay home, make dinner, etc, so, I think of a good excuse, and e'mail them , usually the same day or at the last minute because I've been going back and forth about going all day.

  1. I usually dont, If its someone close to me and very important, i;d clear my plans, but for just a friend or a co-worker? Than its alright, call them up during the party and just say hey i hope you guys are having a great time! Sorry i couldnt make it.


  2. if you feel that you have to stay home stay home. but make shour to go sometimes because that is how you loose friends. (what comes around goes around)

  3. i only feel guilty if i havent told them that im not coming.. if i have told them then i dont feel bad at all cos i know they wont be waiting or wondering where i am lol

  4. Nope. It is so much if I am not there if I don't feel like being there. For me and the people at the party.

  5. Lols yeah I do feel slightly guily cause then you wonder well hmmm maybe it would have been good, and they depended on me to go and all that kind of stuff. But then I watch scrubs, and somehow all those worries dissapear :P

  6. im not a party goer but when its family sometimes yes but it honestly depends on how close i am to them.

  10. Not at all.  If I don't feel like going, I just don't go.  I make no excuses except that I didn't feel like it.
