  1. No, not really. Can't be a doormat unless you lie down.

  2. im a stay at home mom and i have a family member who thinks that just because i am i have all the time in the world to run and do her arrends while she is at work and things that she could do her self like go pay her car insurance and what not i thought that was what the mail was for ...i have 3 kids my own errends and coaching little league for my kids i bearly have enough time to do my stuff that need to get done...i just slowly started to say no and now it don't happen that much....hang in there

  3. I have felt that way, but now I just don't answer my door for them any longer.

  4. Oh He** yeah. My family loves to say help me do this do that why wont you and so forth..Im slowly stoping it but it has taken a long time..

  5. no everyone know that if they need something im there for them but they need to have at least tried to fix their problem their self. i go by my dads rule of 60, 40. if you go 60 percent of the way ill go my 40

  6. Set boundaries.  It is good that your family rely on you to get things done but do not let yourself be walked all over, it is a choice we have to make.  Learn how to say no or not right now.
