  1. Though I can't speak from the US experience; with what I have read and heard from other Americans about the US, I think that the US almost certainly has Bush[?]).

With some of the Australian experiences, up until 2007, Kakistocracy had been seeping into Australian Government. Telecommunications was but one area, that it occurred. The government of the day sold off a major part of our interest(the people's interest) to an overseas government-sponsored company. Our government then also almost enabled our communications company(Telstra) to introduce a relatively slow and inefficient form of  broadband into and as mainstream supply(using copper wire-feed instead of optical cable).

I hope that with the change of government that we had, the experience has come to a halt. Most of the time, the new government seems to know what they are talking about.

    Time will tell though

  2. Rule by the worst men?

    Sad, but not exactly new.

"We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office."  ~Aesop

We could do worse than Bush (not easy, but we could), but why would anyone want to.

January 20th is coming soon enough.  Hang in there.
