Do you feel like you are always grasping at something just out of reach?

Question

What I mean is that I am always motivated to improve and better myself so much so that it is never ending. It is not about being perfect (I don't think) it is just about being better than I am right now. I always think I can be better or do better and I always want to do more ---wish I didn't actually have to sleep;-)))

Anyone else know what I mean. Is it a Fire sign thing--my Sun sign is Sagittarius and my Moon is in Leo or is it an Air thing- my Rising sign is Gemini? I do have Virgo in two of my houses--could that be it?

Can you relate? What's your Sun, Moon and Rising signs?

MY WEIGHT LOSS GOAL SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE AND RIDICULOUS. MY CRUSH SEEMS WAY TOO GOOD FOR ME AND OUT OF MY LEAGUE. THAT SOUNDS TERRIBLE WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT BUT I DON'T FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY OUTSIDE AS MUCH AS I DO ON THE INSIDE.

Same here...........have the same placements as you.

Sometimes it feels bad though when you have made 2 steps forward and something happens and you got to go back to square one...........disappointing feeling when you let yourself down.

So muster your courage - as best as you can ! - and start again...

There will always be obstacles at some stage, events, situations, people who want to make us regress to suit themselves really.

Best is to stay faithful to yourself. I know , I know...easier said than done sometimes.

I know exactly how you feel thinNtall! I am always working to improve myself, and I never feel that I reach a point of satisfaction. Once you reach one level, you have to keep going to the next, and it just seems to never end.

That's because it doesn't ever end. I once had a teacher that told me we learn in a circle. As we grow and become better, we work our way around the circle to the top. That is the high point, and we feel very good. Then we keep going around the circle and come to the bottom again. That's when we are too smart for own good...We are now experienced enough to know that we actually know nothing, and that we have to keep working to transcend our abilities. So we work and work and reach the top again, and so on and so forth...It's a never ending cycle. That's the way life is. There is no point of perfection, or level that we reach where we are complete. We just keep going and learning and growing....Of course, there are those that give up, and are afraid to keep growing.

It can be discouraging to think that you'll never reach a point where you'll truly be satisfied, and truly feel at peace with your own abilities and skills. There's always something more....But that's what makes life interesting. That's what we're here for. I'd say, just try not to be so hard on yourself, and just remember that you are always getting better whether you notice it or not...So keep reaching, and keep growing. You may not notice the change, but others will, you can be sure.

it's kinda hard to motivate me. i am a naturally lazy person, so yeah. lol.

my aries ascendent makes me start things i don't finish, and unforunately my cancer sun makes me lazy.

and i won't even mention how slothful my taurus moon makes me. lmao.

i'm more of a self-perfector. i'm a huge perfectionist, and things always need to be a certain way with me.(oddly enough i have no virgo placements in my chart).

i always strive to do my best. all i need is a bit of motivation.

well  i guess i sometimes feel like i get things that i want, and they are in my reach but i have trouble keeping them because the fear of me loosing them fpushes them away :/
