And if you do, does it go away after a few wks?? I'm only on my 3rd day of it & I feel like I'm starting to get more irritable.. Am I right or is it all in my head because I'm expecting it? Idk. Ive read many things online about horror stories of side effects. So it may be all psychological. I do know your body can feel wacked-out tho because of introducing the new hormones. I'm on low-dose kariva, btw..if that helps for details. thx.

  1. What pill are you taking. I felt this way recently while taking Orth-tricyclen and it is a pain. I am very irritable at times when I know I shouldn't be and my fiance has noticed it as well. I am thinking of having my prescription changed because the Orth-lo I took before didn't give me these feelings.

    Good luck

  2. When I started on the pill my doctor told me that the effects of the pill really don't start to kick in for up to 3 months. My periods were still heavy, I still had bad cramps, and my mood swings were worse than they had ever been. Since the 3 month mark, things have gradually gotten better. Three days is definately not soon enough to be seeing any changes. If, in a few months, you don't notice any change contact your doctor.
