  1. Well, we have the best security on our network so I would not be scared.

  2. Considering that there's so many other ways that your identity can be stolen, using a bank's secure website would be the least of your worries.

Most identity theft is low-tech: poaching your paper mail, double-swiping your credit card, pretexting and so forth.

  3. well, we pay our bills at home, on a secure thing.  i don't pay them in Starbucks, etc.

  4. You don't have to worry about anyone spying on you when making online bill payment.  Most banks have topnotch security that can't just be penetrated.  There are more thieves in the mail than there are online.

Spyware is a program that records the sites that you frequently visits.  Most the time, it's just for marketing purposes.  Worm and trojans are viruses.  There are several free anti-spyware that you can download online.  Just google them.

  5. If you know even the basics of computer and network privacy protection, then the chances that "someone" could be "watching on your computer" are infinitely small.

I wouldn't pay bills on a public computer, but I'm one hundred percent sure that nobody's going to steal anything from me when I'm on the one at home.
