  1. When i eat them on the half shell they're not moving around. I don't think of them as alive. Not until I read your post.

  2. sort of but its better if they get eaten rather than they just sit there...

  3. When the best oysters and sushi are eaten, they are not alive, they are raw - as in not cooked.

    They are no longer wriggling.

  4. Gosh! No!

When I make a slit (shuckled) on the "neck" muscle it dies. So it is a misconception that they are swallowed alive. Now, will it make you feel better if I told you I know CPR just in case I need to help out, with the oyster, I mean.

Clams are super duper good also, and the same process applies.

To be honest I never thought about them being alive or dying, ugh!, well, because there's no eye contact, geez it doesn't resemble any kind of animal, is a blob, a delicious blob. Plus they slide from the shell right into my mouth, so there's also no social interaction.

And you are going to laugh, I don't eat sushi because it's RAW. Yes, I know, I don't understand myself either!

  5. I feel more sorry for the conditions battery chickens live in to produce meat and eggs. That is truly shocking!

Sushi is long dead by the time you eat it!!! How can it be alive, it's a sliver of fish and it's head has been removed!

  6. Oysters are dead the minute they're shucked.

  7. Wow

Where did you get that IDEA..????

    sorry you don't understand...

    but that is not case

Once you open the oyster IT dies

as for shushi the fish are flash frozen days before they make the market..

  8. no if it taste good eat it
