Do you feel squeezed...?

Alistair Darling said the British People are `feeling squeezed`......

What DOES he mean?

Does he mean at last we are waking up to the fact that this is a very expensive country to live in, and overtaxed too?

If this is what he means, why is he talking in Politician`s gobbledy-**** - why doesn`t he just say what he means.

I`m a bit puzzled by this remark. Are YOU feeling squeezed - or over-taxed?

  1. Overtaxed - especially in terms of green and mean motoring taxes.

  2. Yes, we're skint but don't worry, this country can still afford to give £30million to the Palestinians:

I do not feel particularly squeezed but have been used to coping on a basic income.
