Do you feel that dolls these days are innapropriate for young children?

I feel that the clothes that they wear are unbelievable. I have heard the recent debate about how music videos are innapropriate for children, but i think that dolls are just as bad if not worse. A 7 year old child that i babysit sometimes, recently bought a "beautie cutie" doll and its skirt bearly covered its bottom. Check out these pics and tell me your thoughts plse. Thanx

most women (let alone girls) are absolutely gullible and pathetic in the way they practically dress like s***s, I just want to take them out to a forest and grope them, they were asking for it!!...the way they practically GIVE themselves away in trashy and skimpy clothing...which is why I have no respect for women.

Yes! Original dolls are beautiful, but make-up and long hair? NO~ The second pic is weird, it's like the normal Bratz shrunk! Not like when they were a baby! Well, alot of them are like that~!

Bratz may wear trashy, reveling clothes, but if your child plays with it, she (or he!) will develope a creative amagination, and don't you want your child to have a creative amagination. So what if a brat dresses trashy, your child will have fun, and you can change their clothes. If your not satisfied with an outfit, just buy a matirial, and you can make your child clothing for their brat. Hope this helps!!

Most dolls are no longer about nurturing, but are more about status. There is nothing any uglier than a doll dressed up to look like a hooker, and that is the theme repeated over and over on almost every toy store shelf. These dolls are sending girls a bad message. It is telling them that they need to be nearly naked and over-painted to be an acceptable part of society. These are wrong, and should not be on the market. If parents would get together and demand better toy options then toy manufacturers would have to do a better job at making decent looking toys.

yeah. bratz are so unrealistic, yet barbies have gotten a litle more curvier since the days when I played with them. and also like you said the clothes that these dolls wear are rediculous.

barbie's are Ok, but Bratz are just trashy. Little kids don't really pay attention to that stuff until there older, but by then they will have stopped playing with them?
