yes, and the reason being our education system is merely bookish, ie, read and understand or by heart the whole subject and write a final exam. it is no way developing practical knowledge of the student. when there is no application of what we study, the that education will not be much of help.

2. only a few streams like, engineering and that too computer science, medical and MBA are the only subjects which will fetch jobs. there is no use studding other subjects. i personally know people PhD is biochemistry, that person did a s/w testing course just to get a job. now the PhD in Biochem is down the drain. many streams are going out of colleges just because they dont have proper encouragement. the system has to change so that it can encourage other important streams. Sanskrit is our ancient language, no other country let their ancient language extinct, the guard it with their life. however in our country, we r more than glad to kill our own heritage.

just look into your or  your friends life, you will know how shabby our education system is, it never lets anyone do what they love. u r in a rat race and the best wins. Ed sys in not up to a global standard, it still sucks.
