  1. I think it's a right choice. It's been really successful so far. And why would it be the wrong choice?

  2. Not American but I think it's okay China has the games

  3. It is never a mistake. It was chosen. A promise was  made if selected and now a vision becomes a reality. Where is the mistake seen?

Feeling in a fine day of a  fine opening ceremony, games and interactions.

  4. no i think it was the rigth choice.anyway why don't ppl concentrate more on the games than other irrelevant issues. this is what olympics about, time for athletes to shine and do their best with the best of the best athletes. not for ppl to pick on other stuff and make a big issue out of it.

  5. i think that its a great choice, due to the success in China's athletes in the past olympics and there skyrocketing economy. It could really promote the country further.

  6. I think its ok...since nothing has gone wrong.

  7. lol i never heard of china polling this sort of things when games were in Atlanta.

don't depend on your media so much. it makes you look like a r****d without brains. i am sure you wont eat **** because your media says it good, right?

and i haven't heard of a terrorist attack so far. good job dont you think?

  8. There is nothing "right" or "mistake".

    Just better or even worse

  9. No I would not say mistake, but I think some of the things could have been done/handled differently.

  10. Hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens were forcibly removed from their homes in order to make room for new Olympic facilities.

Right now water is being diverted away from crops so that tourists can take showers and flush toilets and look at pretty fountains.

All so that China can fake the appearance of prosperity. Yes their economy is strong, but the life of the average citizen sucks, and it was only made worse because of the Olympics.

  11. Instead of asking from the general population of Americans, why don't they ask the people that actually participated or traveled to this year's Olympic.

  12. i am indonesian n it's a mistake from the beginning,,,

  13. yes!

they are putting on a fake image.

A British tourist was bashed by the police only yesterday because he was reporting on the pro Tibet protest.

The little girl and the fireworks insedent in the opening ceremony.. and what happened yesterday china inforced a complete media ban on reporting on that story.

I think even the IOC has relised that is was a mistake.

Has anyone noticed half of the stands are empty?

Sydney Olymipcs you couldnt get a seat for anything?

China covers everything up and now has not only lied to its own people but the rest of the world.

  14. Well the poll shows it the majority say it was the right choice. And the only people to have a say if the Olympics are a success, are the people behind the IOC.

  15. I think they should have held it in a smaller city in China that had less pollution and other problems.

  16. China has every right to have the Olympics in their country

And no it wasn't a mistake
