Now that gas and diesel or at an all time high and less people are driving or not going very far if they do drive. Do you feel the smog and pollution level is lower in areas that normally are higher in these levels? I live in San Diego County, CA. Yesterday Regular gas was $4.49 a gallon.

  1. no, not at all. its getting higher all the time. i think americans won't ACTUALLY stop driving until gas becomes like $7 a gallon. the truth is, americans love their cars, and it'll take A LOT for them to stop driving them.

the other day, i was driving on the 134 freeway from my school in Pasadena to my house in Eagle Rock. from the 134 freeway, you can usually get a pretty good view of the skyscrapers in downtown Los Angeles. on that day however, the super-tall buildings couldn't be seen AT ALL! the smog was sooo thick that day...

i guess what i'm really trying to say is that $4.50 a gallon for gasoline isn't going to stop people from driving their cars. and they say gas is gonna be $5/gallon by the Fourth of July!!!!
