Do you feel there is some ego problem with Praveen Kumar towards Ishant Sharma?

I don't know why I feel so. I have seen Praveen Kumar dropping catches which were very very easy. Like he 'completely-misjudged' in the Asia Cup match against Pak and so on. He also misfields often at the bowling of Ishant Sharma. I have observed such behaviour on the part of Praveen Kumar many many times.

What do you feel?

  1. well i dont think so..because he is under immense pressure and at this tender age you do commit some mistakes..

  2. I never noticed such things they are great bowlers ,friends too

  3. It may not be what you are insinuating. He just may be a bad fielder. Drooped catches should be penalized. Let us say first one Rs 1 lack, 2nd 10 lacks, 3 rd 1 crore, 4th dismissal from the team for 10 years.

  4. I dont think there is any ego problem between Ishant and Praveen Kumar. You must realise that these players are playing for the country and not for their 'mohalla'.This kind of deliberate errors may cost the players a place in the national team and no body could take a chance at this level of cricket.

Both these players are young and play under a lot of pressure to firstly do well to defeat the opponent and second to cement a place for themselves in the team. They could afford to do these things at a very heavy cost to themselves.

  5. Have noticed Parveen is not a good fielder, but not as you say. Parveen did not even catch his own ball. never gave it any more thought.

    Ishant is great

  6. i think he is just a bad fielder.

  7. Well..to be honest I never did notice that....

But I truly hope that those misfieldings were just unintentional......

  8. well 2 b honest I have nevr noticed something like dat.In fact I hav nevr even heard of anything lik dat and I'm sure it's ur misunderstanding friends bcoz teams of intnat'l standrd do not bhave lik dat....

  9. I feel one bhajji Style slap would make that obvious on camera too!!Lolz..

  10. i think praveen kumar is overrated. he had one good series and that's it. ive seen more consistency from ishant sharma.

  11. I don't think that the captain will tolerate such behavior from any of his players and Praveen Kumar was in fact guilty of deliberately doing that then our experts on Aaj Tak and all other TV channels would have made him pay for it. Nothing can be more embarrassing than dropping a catch when thousands of people watching you. I have played cricket and I can tell you that when you are on the field, there is only one thing is on your mind and that is to win. You simply don't have the time to play any other games.
