place your hands about 7 inches apart facing each other as if between the space you were holding a box on its sides. Close the space slowly, when you are about a inch to your hands almost touching you should feel something, pull your hands away slowly then you should feel it go away...bring it closer to feel it again.

  1. I forgot all about that. We used to do that in high school. Feels weird, doesn't it?! I don't know what causes it. Maybe the scientists/skeptics will know.

EDIT..T.R.....b.s. Something DOES happen!! I TRIED  to see or even "imagine" my aura with closed eyes...and couldn't...But this definitely does something. You just have it ingrained in you that you WON'T feel anything...that's why you don't. "There are none so blind as......" You know the rest.

EDIT..OK...That wasn't the one we did. My son reminded me or this one..which is the one I was thinking of..Squeeze your hand tight..then let somebody rub your knuckles hard. several times.. ..then gradually open your hand slowly...then the other person puts their 2 fingers in the middle of your palm and tells you they're pulling thread through your hand. They gradually pull the imaginary thread through your hand and up about 7 inched. {TRY IT...T.J....YOU CAN FEEL THE IMAGINARY THREAD COMING FROM THE PALM OF YOUR HAND.} (It probably won't work on you. Ask somebody else in your family to do it to each other.) (Report back to me!! LOL)

  2. I don't feel anything. If you do feel something, it's just your power of suggestion. The act of "pushing" together the hands may produce the expectation of a force pushing back, regardless of whether one exists or not.

EDIT: Sorry Denie, but you're just fooling yourself. It's well known that it is very easy to trick the senses with this kind of exercise. The human body/mind is a very imprecise tool to measure tiny forces, and you can easily trick yourself into thinking there is a force when there is none at all.

  3. Because you are concentrating so hard on the sense of touch in your hands they get much more sensitive and you start to feel sensations that you usually ignore. That's all. If you really want to see if there is anything to it, try this experiment.

Put your hand palm up on the table and close your eyes. Have a friend put their hand palm down at various heights above your palm. Every five seconds you say how high you think your friend's palm is above yours. Record that and the actual height. It might be helpful to have another person doing the recording. Make sure your friends moves her hand to many different heights and moves slowly and makes no sound.

If you really can feel something without touching it, then this experiment will show it. My prediction (I am clairvoyant by the way) is that your will be completely unable to tell the height of your friend's hand.

  4. I know what you are talking about and I have not only researched it, years ago, but spoke to a nerologist about it.  He's my husbands epilapsy doc.

The human body DOES put off an electro-magnetic energy field.  What you are doing is making the field form and than causing it to shrink.  That is why some people see auras even though they may not have epilapsy is because they are seeing the energy firld around people and things.

    COOL isn't it?
