Do you feel with today's economy that you're no better of now than you were 25 years ago?

I feel like I'm back living in 1982 when Reganomics were ruining the country,,,,do you think things will ever get better? I'm so over being poor!!!

I am hoping they will. But it isn't looking to be in our near future. I think it is going to take a lot of time and a lot of fixing, to get us where we need to be..I wish I could make things better for everyone. As for myself, I and my husband do okay. That's only because the children are grown. 25 years ago we were really struggling, because we were raising 3 daughters. I take it you are a young parent? If you can put back anything at all, even if it's just $5.00 a week, you will be surprised at what that will look like in another 25 years. It is hard, these days for everyone, to save anything, and yes though we do alright, that's just it. We would like to be doing better. I don't know what the answer is. Do you think anyone does?

ya.. gasoline is so expensive here in the philippines..Other commodities are affected because of the need for transportation..
