Have you actually changed your lifestyle because of this? Do you not go to the mall or a cafe? The airport?

  1. No.  I am statistically more likely to die of bad seafood than die from a terrorist attack.

  2. Nope, I feel alot safe then I did during the cold war.

  3. There is, always, a danger with terrorism. Terrorism is something that will never die. As long as there are people who hate others, and who revel in those others' fears, terrorism lives on.

Now, the government has done very little to make things safer. In truth, they are provoking terrorists even more. And giving countries more reason to hate us, which in turn potentially breeds more terrorists. Forcing our way into countries and telling them to be a democracy, doesn't help. Telling other countries that we'll go to war with them if they pursue nuclear technology, while we are doing very little to dismantle our own nukes ... that makes us look like hypocrites. You can't tell the world one thing, and do another. And you can't run around the world doing whatever you want, when all the other countries are telling you to back off.

The fact is, America has become too elitist. I love America, I love living here ... but that doesn't mean I need to rub it in the faces of everyone else in the world. And that doesn't make me better than them. The idea of superiority is like a tight rope, and it can very easily get you into a lot of trouble.

Now, while terrorism is a danger. We can not allow fear to interfere with our actions. We CAN NOT allow our government to push us into what they want by the use of scare tactics. Ever thought it funny that every time a scandal starts to appear in the government the government somehow foils a terrorist plot? Scare tactics and fear are making us blind.

So don't let fear rule you; not just so that the terrorists can't win ... but so the government can't force you into their chains with silly scare tactics.

  4. No,  I don't , I dont tend to worry about things I have no control over . there are enough reality things in my life to keep me busy.

  5. have i changed my life style?,.....yes, i have i pay more attention to what people are doing around me,.....

  6. Oh we are in danger....but it doesnt mean we cant live our lives normally....if we stop doing things because we are afraid then we cannot even go on our roads for fear of having an accident....it takes more than a brain washed phsycho to make me change my lifestyle...

  7. I'm not scared of terrorists, unless by terrorists you mean the U.S. government. In fact, I'm not at all convinced that the "terrorists" who keep making headlines here in the U.S. and Iraq and Britain are who the TV says they are. 9/11 seems a little to much like Pearl Harbor to me, an act which was allowed, if not condoned, by the U.S. government to galvanize the populace into a warlike attitude. Are you not amazed that after everything that happened on 9/11, "they" found the intact passport of one of the "terrorists" just laying on the ground at the foot of the rubble? I'm not an old bull who is content to be led around by the ring in my nose, I will think for myself, thank you all very much

  8. I do think my life is in danger, but that's what this war is for and I feel that our President is doing his best to protect us. I haven't changed my lifestyle because of it though.

  9. I'm more concerned with how our government is affecting our lifestyle, than the terrorists.  When government breeds fear in the people, it is to get more control.

  10. no. i'm not scared. they* want us to live in fear.

  11. Let's see, I was in NYC on 9/11 and was in London during the recent scare.

SO - YES, I believe we are all in danger.

Changing my lifestyle would give these monsters control over it though.

How dare you try to downplay the terror people feel in association to these attacks on non-military targets.
