My local hospital has cheap swimming in their therapy pool so I thought great bargin. I went and I nearly passed out with the heat. I found I couldnt swim for long and when I got out I was way too hot and even the showers were too warm with no option for cold water!!! It was awful I felt like I had just had a bath with a whole bunch of people not a refreashing swim!!!

My question is can you actually get extra benefits from swimming in a very heated swimming pool - like extra good for circulation etc? Is anyone able to do more then 2 lengths in one without passing out from the heat?!!!!

  1. Hot water can help with alot of things,

    like you said blood circulation,

    blood clots,

    and muscle relaxation.

    Things of that nature.

You should ask the hospital if that water is EVEN safe!
