Yes, very much so.  I often give a thumbs down to the vulgar ones who use the three letters beginning with W.

it is annoying! I can`t understand why people do it.  Another one of my pet peeves is when people act stupid, or say shut up, um, or swear constantly, or when they giggle constantly.  maybe it`s like a thing that we women have: act like a ditz so you can get a guy.  Apparently it works too because that`s how all the girls act at my school.  i think that when people say OMG constantly, it just wears out the meaning, and loses them a lot of respect.

That is probably the only repetitive phrase of exclamation that makes me wince every time! I wish people could mix it up with an occassional "Oh gee" or "Really" or "No way", I know I would be happier :o)

Short hand has become a commmon practice among the lazy. I also don't like IDK and LOL all the time - but what else are you going to say when your cell phone only accepts a certain number of characters..
