here is a strange quote from.............yes you guessed it, George Bush.

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family"

I'm just interested to find out, just how many of you struggle with putting food on your own family.

Is certain types of food better than others for doing this ?

  1. Well I am no longer in a relationship but the answer is no, applying honey, cream etc. was never a problem.

You would be well advised to avoid runny foods or Indian / Chinese food because they can stain.

  2. it is though on the contrary a very intelligent Q. Basically asking how much do you respect your family? See I'm someone who would not find it hard at all to put food on my Family (oh the joy!) or even have a playful food fight would be fun too.

However here's the difficult part, I have to respect them as I am at the moment freeloading off them (in my eyes anyway cause they wouldn't think of me living anywhere else) so I have to put a stop to my urge to put food on them, oh the struggle and pain I go through at dinner!

And I have to struggle with the ethics of a food fight so that's quite difficult to resist as well.

And to refer to the bit you asked, it would be a struggle to put uncut melons or oranges or apples etc on your family cause they would just roll off so that's pointless.

Otherwise yeh he is kinda dumb!

edit -  I don't know if anyone noticed the title under PGB's pic

Exactamundo Georgey boy.Nothing more to add.

    edit.

Actually I´m lucky. I don´t have to put food on my family, my 9 yr  old son manages to put food on himself and his clothes quite regularly.

  4. Do you think that some of this food comes from the imports, most of which come from abroad? The hamster died a long time ago methinks.

  5. He really did mean it he say it,  but I don't think he though it come out like that.

  6. Chocolate fudge icing spreads quite nicely I find.

I would use peanut butter, but my daughter is allergic to nuts.

  7. Only when they are awake.  If they are sleeping, it is much easier.  When they are sleeping, I can put almost any type of food on them.  When they are awake, I find that the easiest foods to put on them are the kind that are easily thrown.
