You have to know how to use a stud finder and know if the stud finder is giving you a false readings or if you have to reset the stud finder. It's more to it than just reading directions and pushing the button. Like I said before, you really have to know if it is giving false readings or not, and that's why  you really have to practice using one......Cause it Will not find every stud of your dreams.......

my stud finder is one of my most used tools, i carry it in my bag at all times. just don't tell my husband.

you have a defective stud finder, it is finding studs where studs do not exist.

Mu stud finder can't seem to find a stud......I just keep banging away to no avail....
