Question:

Do you find it odd that Bush gets no credit for falling oil prices?

He seemed to be the focus of all the blame when gas and oil were going up. Now the prices are starting to decline, and not a single mention of any role he might have played in that. Is there a double standard here?

  1. No. I don't remember him getting all the blame, I remember it was speculators.

  2. ppl only notice the bad things to be honest

  3. He did nothing at all

  4. It has nothing to do with Bush either way. It's all about global supply and demand. Use less and the prices fall. Go back to driving your SUVs 50 yards to the store and the prices go up again. Take your pick!

  5. Oil prices will skyrocket today. Just keep an eye on the market.

  6. Average price of gas when Bush took office: $1.60

Average price of gas today: $3.88

You want to give this guy credit?   I credit him for hammering the final nail in the coffin of the American dream.

  7. To quote the well-known and respected A. Nonymous...

"Please do NOT ask for credit, as refusal often offends!"

  8. Well because when something goes well no one will say anything. However, when something goes wrong people LOVE to point fingers. So of course people wouldn't give him or anyone else credit, instead they are finding something else to complain about :)

  9. You are basically asking why people are not glorified for Munchausen by proxy syndrome. You cure what you cause (even ifhe did which I doubt) still makes you need a good dose of antipsychotic medications.
