  1. No, but I hope it results in them stop burning their coffee beans and make better coffee.  That said, there are a lot of smaller shops that make great coffee and I'd rather support small business anyway.

  2. I think it is interesting that Starbucks faces the same issues as every other company in the US.  Like rising health insurance.  Changing market demand, etc.

So whatever progessive image they try to project, can't be sustained over the long haul.

  3. Nope.  People losing jobs doesn't bring me joy.

  4. nope i love their coffees

  5. I really don't think that burnt coffee at $4-$5 a cup is a really great business plan. Now BP gas station Colombian @ $1.29 is a decent cup. Unfortunately, you have to hold the cup under the spigot and pull the little black handle all by yourself. The yuppies have to Google the sequence on their laptops to get that, and the line becomes a problem. Hence, the barrista at Starbucks.

  6. No.  The company created products that people liked.  The trouble is that it is unnecessary so it would be the kind of product that people can easily cut from their budget.

  7. I do. starbucks' coffees are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.  Their prices are a RIPOFF.  I can't believe people go there.

I know one thing though;  too much greed attracts resentment & failure.  & that's what starbucks is going through.
